Can anyone give me some insight as to why all these new "midsize" trucks have Damn near identical headlights and grill/bumper design shapes? From a distance, they all look like they have Ford Taurus headlights.

What regulating agency caused that?

One model sold well or did well in consumer opinion surveys so everyone else copied it.

Also, emissions and fuel economy requirements could be driving the general shape of the front end. Large, flat grills aren’t great for mileage.

My alarm went off at 2:30am to be at a dock on the Houston ship channel for a surprise API compliance audit on some vessel inspectors...and like always the vessel load isn’t complete. I could’ve slept for 3 more hours!
