Caught the ol’ fire disk sneaking out of bed.

Yeah, the Highway Patrol has a tendency not to let CDL drivers off with a warning. As I was told last time, “You’re a professional and you know better.” The joke is on him, I’m the least professional person I know.

So now my speeding and hauling ass is usually 3 mph over the limit, but always less than 5 over. I have discovered that with fewer stops I manage to keep the same travel times as most people going much faster.

When I had a CDL I understood that Warning Tickets were not allowed?

That notwithstanding, I'd trade this freshwater for some of that sea water in a heartbeat.

That's my new/old dock on the left, in temporary location.
Permitted, and ready to float it over and put on piers where it belongs.
It was free, needs some minor repairs, and replaces the old one, almost 50 years old.

Now, if the dock contractor will just get his butt in gear ...
