Yep planned on some pool noodles & duck tape for insulation. Theres a few other valves on a sink & toilet that are shot from hardwater as well... that will be next guys problem.

Friggin covid-19 cutting in on y hobby. This weekend I wanted to start sanding down a stock I am planning on refinishing. always use a dust mask when doing so. Thing is, I left my box of dust masks in NY when I split that hellhole. Went to buy some dust masks and pretty much got laughed at when I asked where they were at. I guess the corona virus panic had folks buy them right off of the shelves until there were no more to buy - not of any type. When they get them back in stock, I have half a mind to don one of my Tyvek suits, nitril gloves and gas-masks and walk into Lowe's and Homer's Dah-spot to get some dust masks for myself.

I use a wrist rocket and acorns for projectiles.
I haven't hit one yet, but they leave for a month or so just because they've been threatened.
