    Salt is over-rated IMHO.

And besides, they still use chlorine to kill bugs, that’s why they have chlorine generators.

A chorine generator just breaks-down the salt to its constituent components - sodium and chlorine.

I know quite a few people who have converted from salt to conventional chlorine.

Count me on the list. Putting chlorine vs. putting salt in the pool was a wash. When the chlorine generator I had broke, I gave up on the salt water.

Watched Patton for the..... I'm not sure how many times last night, but I remember watching it at the theater. Then I realized I was about 13 at that time.

After the movie I thought to myself, I wonder what colorful words Patton would use for generals like Milley today?

I got to visit his grave about 15 years ago outside Luxembourg City. That is a nice cemetery setup.

So, I went to a funeral last Friday.

    Sunday night I started coughing.
By Monday I had a fever.
No loss of taste or smell, but just feel awful.

Last night I found out that 4 people at the funeral were positive for covid.
    They had all been vaccinated.

What a surprise. Roll out the booster. We'll be rid of this even if it kills us all.

The main reason I want salt now is because I'm following Trouble Free Pool method that uses liquid chlorine instead of the trichlor pucks. SWG is better for this method. Oh well. :)

Of course, but its the unvaccinated that are spreading it....

You can always add later. We wanted to go that route. But I wanted to learn the pool first. A SWG is pretty self sufficient, set and don't worry. I wanted to at least spend a year learning what the pool likes and what affects CL levels.

Got my eye on a robot right now....

That makes a ton of sense. I'm definitely going to be well acquainted with this pool within the year.

We went with the Dolphin Active 30i from https://marinapoolspaandpatio.com/ . Love it!

    Search this phrase

    "Vaccinated people made up”

Lots of articles about 74% of people with Covid in a MA area were vaccinated.

Not as much as lumber prices.

I'm glad I talked the neighbor into waiting to replace a huge section of fence.

A few weeks ago, one of my news feeds on my phone had an article about lumber prices coming down about 40%, and they were still dropping.

Hopefully within six months to a year, lumber, and ammo prices will be close to where they were before the stupid made up "pandemic" raised them to.

An 8’ 2x4 was just shy of $9, this week at Lowe’s. That’s higher than it was in May.

I only checked because I had heard on here that the prices were coming down. Not yet, that I’ve seen.
