Morning Y'all.......We made past the hump day and the dreaded camel sitting in the way! It's now Throwback Thursday, or Friday Eve. And @candcallen, I don't even have to climb up on My Little Pony stepladder to see Friday now!

Low 60's, very slight breeze, and lots of sunshine here in East Texas this morning. Time for some coffee.

I mentioned a while back, ( tomorrow will be two weeks since the accident.) about my wife having gotten rear-ended by another driver. LE officer doing the accident report, cited the other driver at being at fault. Other driver has insurance. Insurance information was traded.

Other driver's insurance is dragging their feet big time. Wife still doesn't have a rental car to drive. The insurance adjuster still hasn't shown up to even access damage to the car. Body shop won't start doing repairs until authorized.

Wife had a scheduled doctor's visit for this morning. Doctor is sending her for X-rays and an MRI in the morning. Soft tissue damage from the accident.

Insurance adjuster claims the car is totaled from looking at a few pictures. (he hasn't even been to the body shop where the car is located.) Talked to the body shop manager this morning, and they have not even done an estimate, and haven't sent any pictures to the other driver's insurance company. We are going to the body shop in the morning as well as our insurance agent to get this resolved.

I hate insurance companies; they are just honest and legit as car sales people. I hope you guys can get things taken care, sorry you have to deal with that.

It's fixing to get fixed, or at least on it's way to getting fixed tomorrow. I might even have to get downright sporty with some people tomorrow!

I'm going out to the garage and start framing up my new work table. I spent most of yesterday salvaging board, by pulling nails and cutting them to length. And my old back paid for it last night!

I'm baaaacccckkkkk. Three long days on job site but finally finished. As much as I want to retire again, LTH Contracting wants me to help them complete a remodel of a car wash about 20 miles from me. I told them I would do it since it's only about 20 miles from me and I can be home every evening. And the money isn't to bad either.

Well, funny thing is the adjuster hasn't even seen the car, and made that determination on some supposed pictures. The body shop also hasn't even made an in-depth estimate of the cost or the damages. I even asked the body shop what was the industry standard for determining a total vehicle currently. ( I have been out of the business for some years!) He said it was at 70% to 75% of current market value of the car in pre-collision condition. He said if the vehicle is totaled, they could be liable to make a replacement of the same vehicle and model with approximately the same mileage.
