Well, talked to the doc. The cancer was in situ meaning just started hadn't really even grown. Some call it stage 0. So we need scans to confirm this. Still may need chemo or radiation or more surgery to remove the rest of the tonsil but that's up to the oncologist and my throat needs to heal from the surgery first or the scans will be abnormal.

From what I understand if you have to get cancer, it's the most favorable way to get it. Catch it early before it really grows.

As s long as everything else turns out as expected I think we are ok. As long as the stress doesn't kill me, lol

Oh, it was HPV caused cancer so get your kids vaccinated. You can be exposed and not even kn ou w it till you get cancer 40 years later.
