Rain started again about 1 1/2 hours ago and still raining.

So far today, 2 1/2 inches of rain.
See? Yer blame rain dance done werked! (them hard rains sometimes do more harm than good)

We got a good bit, last night...fixin' to get more today

Don't normally use a "rain gauge" here in the land of Punxy Phil! As it rains near to 150 or 160 days/year...most years? We have about two feet of rain (plus some good snow...12" of white dirt = 1" of rain or so)...

The other day we got pounded, got pounded last night...may just install me a rain gauge...Nahhh...yinz Texicans would say I wuz a braggin'! :roflfunny:

    Hey Pops,

Couple years ago? We had a total of FOUR FEET of rain for the year (not counting snow)! Almost TWO FEET over "average"..

Then? in '20...we were way short on rain (like a foot?)....

This bar (been closed for a few years, now) is 1/2 mile East of my place.

This is a State Road...heavily traveled.

I live 1/4 mile past the white house in the trees....(the pic is facing West)

That would be the COWANSHANOCK CREEK over its banks (again, happens a couple times every Spring)

    Later, Mark.

Did you see the farmers Almanac forecast for your area this winter?

To paraphrase, you're phucked! Hibernation till spring strongly encouraged. Good luck. Cats n dogs make a good meal so fatten them up now.
