Weekends are dark times. Your body is feeling the damage done by radiation. The pain at times actually makes you cry. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if it wernt in your mouth and throat. The burns on the toung and mouth.. my God.

I'm down to only eggs and mashed potatoes but mostly liquid calories.

2, 4 Day weeks of radiation left.

I hope I can make it.

You can, man. You can kick this and get your health back.

I will never quit but dear God the pain tonight. Like a sugar candy burn in your mouth and throat in several places.

I'm sleeping for 30 to 45 minutes at a time between numbing. It Like it will go along at almost bearable then for no reason peak to undescribable panic inducing fire pain. Real fight or flight massive anxiety inducing type of thing where you wanna jump up and .....but there is nothing to do or no where to go.

Rambling on like a ninny takes my mind off it for a few minutes.

I guess the weekend is where you body responds to the damage from the radiation all week.

Worse yet your saliva glands are all screwed up so they are pumping out this 30 weight motor oil viscosity saliva and when it drys it leaves behind crystals that are like little razor blades and cut into the sores as you swallow.

The radiation has screwed up my left ear and along with chemo has made the tinnitus I already had more like 747s screaming and chemo causes neuropathy so my hands and feet feel like someone took a paddle to them.

I know bitch bitch bitch. It's better than dying.

    If only slightly.

I'm glad to hear, last I read a few days ago, that bait is doing better. Scratch her behind the ears for me.
There are a few of us that know the pain you describe. Not the same one, but the same kind. The kind where you step on the fire inducing corns on your foot because it feels good compared to everything else. Been there. No fun at all. But it can be overcome.
As long as you live, there is hope for a better day. Determine to live and never give in to self pity. You are doing better than a lot of folks. You can do this. You're almost on the downhill slide. Keep going.
