But I did want to report what I’ve learned

So atleast in my area, that both the heb, qt, cvs, and 7 11 have not had any bagged ice for a couple of months.

I found some at the shell station but he barely had any. I asked him why is it hard to find bag ice?

According to him bars and restaurants buy 80% of the ice that’s available all other stores then get what’s left over. Which isn’t much. It’s a trend that’s been happening. Since last summer.

Again this is according to my area.
    How about that!

As a kid in the late 40’s, a small refrigerator’s single ice tray was a treasure trove of wonder.

I ordered a cheese jalopeno whataburger gal asked if I wanted the peppers grilled I said sure and grill the onions too.

They charged me 9.99 for the meal and a separate charge of 0.75 cents for grilled jalopenos. Didn’t charge me for grilling onions nor the cheese.

I got a hold of the manager and complained why am I being charged for grilled since it already comes with jalapeños. She didn’t hesitate to refund the .75 cents.

Now I know that’s not a big deal to most but, it’s the principle of it for me.

Why would you ruin jalapenos by grilling them? I know, to each his own, but I love raw jalapenos!
