Guess I am too spoiled from having my personal range at our last place. Grab a gun and walk outside to shoot. Used to shoot all the time.

Yeah, That's one of the first things I plan to ask him about. If I had to guess I would say it wasn't loaded or his wife was too close.

Well, checked both diffs, transfer case, and transmission fluid on the work truck and all were good. Truck has a "geary" sound, especially while slowing down. Don't think that is a good thing and seems to be a new sound.

Might be time to swap all the fluids to some good synthetic lube. Not sure if they have ever been changed.

2008 Chevy Duramax CC dually 4x4 with 120k miles. Probably due for full service since I know the previous driver and his lack of maintenance concern.

Need to change my tranny and transfer case fluids as well. Did it myself last time. Debating just taking it in this time.
