Yeah, and in less than two months it will be my slacker summer, woe is me.

Teachers aren't paid anywhere close to what they deserve for the crap they have to put up with and what they have to do. So there should be some benefits there - except for the liberal slinging ones!

We just came down off a two week turnaround at the carbon black plant. This weekend is supposed to be in the mid 70s here in the panhandle so what better way to enjoy it than with the motorcycle, paintball, and some range time?

I agree. And like any other profession, if they paid teachers on "performance" as well as a scale, they would end up with many more good teachers and weed the poor ones out at some point.
