I kind of went against the grain and bought a Glock 20 10mm today.

Shot a Kimber 10mm long slide today. It didn't suck. I was expecting more in the recoil department, but is was quite nice.

I kind of went against the grain and bought a Glock 20 10mm today.

Had one and it was okay. I was hoping for more boom than what 10mm has to offer.

If you listen to the fanbois it is almost a 500 Magnum. It surely is not.

I'd love to have a 1911 long slide!

If my son knew and it was a college required career I would be all for him going.

I definitely don't want him following in my footsteps but if nothing else it will make him get serious about his future.

All he knows now is he wants to own a company. What that company will do he has no idea.

Just FYI, If you look, there are options for several different barrels, for different oddball calibers.

Yeah my RIA 1911 is in 10mm. Ever since I got my first 10mm last year I've been a big fan of them. It's hard to get ammo actually loaded to 10mm specs though since most of it is in the lower range closer to .40.

The Glock 20 has different barrels for different calibers? Interesting, I'll have to take a look. I wonder how the internals hold up to that. I mean 10mm loaded to its potential is more than a .357 so I suppose it won't bother anything. I had looked at the Glock 20 last year but went with the RIA 1911 in 10mm instead. The Cabellas guy had told me the Glocks tend to hold up better to higher pressures although I never put much stock into what a salesman has to say.
