    Beat I can tell it is lead, magnet keeps trying to jump to the case but it doesn't seem to have any attraction to the bullet. Box just says " Norinco China North Industries Corp"

    Magnets will stick to a ton of 7.62 bullets because a ton of it is steel-jacketed (with copper wash).

    I didn't even think they still imported Norinco ammo.

    I got it with the SKS I purchased from my aunt after my uncle passed away. They lived in Mexico and all the guns had been sitting in a safe for 10-15 years at a cousins house.

    They don't. Arms and ammo imports from china were banned permanently back in the 90's. It was produced in 1989 so it's not new manufacture.

    I don't think the stuff's been allowed for import since the mid-90s, sooooo... Close the crate back up and sell it as a lot if you do sell it.
