Morning all...Morning all..
FIFYWell, my cardiologist told me I had to change my diet and do aerobic like exercise. I guess dancing isn't enough?
So, I started my first night of taekwondo. I got my ass worked.
I was sweating and out of breath.
Then, we had to do double side kicks on a punch bag. I was placed on the taller one, since my kicks are actually pretty high. (I was quite surprised) I ripped flesh right off my toe. At first, I thought my toes were just reddened from accidently kicking too far down on the foot, so I kept going. But then I noticed drops........I pulled my foot in and couldn't believe the damage I had done. Torn twice on one toe!

Thank youFIFY
The art of hands and feet. Its a great discipline. It's tough but very rewarding. I luckily stuck it out to reach my Black Belt. Good luck with your journey. Never give up. Keep those toes pointed
That part is hard to get over. It's very exposing. Especially when you have to preform your Kata's in front of the whole class. It takes time to settle in... all in time.Thank you
I'm hoping to stop being so shy eventually. I'm in it for the long run
