I've had my TENS machine a' buzzing. 5mins on my knee. Another 5 mins on my left hand.

If you've never used a TENS machine. It's sounds like B.S. but it actually works. As long as you don't crank it up too far. Then you'll fill like you got a minor taze.

Hook one up on your back and let it run 10-20mins.

I know you are out in the sticks but Academy carries them. Not sure how convenient that is to you but getting some relief sooner may make it worth it.
