    I should have stated, "Yes, I would love to run suppressed, but that is not mandatory." I'm more concerned with balance and barrel weights. Will it be too barrel heavy to control one handed?
    As short as possible is definitely going to work in your favor there.

    If you run a Brace then you open up a lot of options for barrel length. A Brace really locks it onto your arm. They work well.

    A Blade may work better though if you want to use sights.

    A Brace centers the buffer tube on your arm. Try looking straight down your forearm. You can't unless you put your arm straight out to the side or twist your arm sideways (gangsta style).

    A Blade holds the rear of the tube to the side of your arm. Much better for aiming but not quite as stable as a Brace.

    Either one is really going to help stabilize any pistol shooting one handed.

    You may want to find a store (or buddy) that has a few options for you to try out so you can see what is manageable.
