I agree. No such thing as an accident.accidents or "incidents"? I don't call them accidents if the person that caused it was stupid. Like failing to completely stop at a stop sign, running a red, failing to use turn signals, slamming on the brakes so hard that you, 3 cars lengths behind can't even get out of the way, etc.
Travelling too fast for the conditions, not knowing how to drive on icy roads, and light rear wheel driven vehicles.Icy conditions. Not to say that stupid wasn't involved. I will say that the majority of vehicles involved were pickups and the overpasses didn't have stop signs.
Ignorant is the norm for most drivers around Odessa.Travelling too fast for the conditions, not knowing how to drive on icy roads, and light rear wheel driven vehicles.
Ignorant may describe them better.
New?Ignorant is the norm for most drivers around Odessa.
Am I new to this area? Not quite. Just pointing out the obvious.New?

If you find a broken one like that, I'll take it, wouldn't be the first I've fixed. Good find!Ask and you shall receive. For years now I've wanted a bench vise. What I didn't want was the Chinese made garbage at Lowe's.
Walking up to the gym of all places. I noticed a decent sized chunk of iron laying out in the parking lot. Being inquisitive I check it out. Well SOB. It was a vintage 6" bench vise. Rusty red. Made by 'The Ridge Company' out of some place in Ohio. Below that it had what I wanted to see. 'Made in the USA.'
Figuring it to be busted. Like a cracked base, broken screw, or missing a jaw. Nope. Nothing at all wrong with it. Threw it in the trunk and now I have a genuine American made vise. Just what I needed and in the size I wanted. My guardian Angel slid me a Winner. For free.
