What time today? Also it's launch day again, let's see if we can get this candle lit
He's alive and stable. And if he can get upset and stay that way, even better. He's fighting. That's a good thing. It was Starbucks, but better than nothing.
He's stable and resting. Has quite a bad arrhythmia when he gets upset, which is pretty normal after this particular surgery. They have him sedated and on pain killers to keep him calm. Today his goal is to just rest. No milestones today.
My daughter came running downstairs yelling "The TV is on fire!"
Evidently she turned it on and the TV threw sparks and then started smoking. Went upstairs and unplugged it. There's a nice strong ozone smell. I bet a capacitor blew up. Damned TV isn't even 3 years old.

The webcast is live now, but the lift off is at 2:22 pm. Instant T-0, no allowable launch window. Tune in anytime between now and then. What time today?
We were watching the last attempt. Bummer that it got scratched.

When my youngest was about 5 she came running into the den at 1:30 PM one afternoon and said: "Daddy, the lights in that room, pointing toward the living room, are pretty!" ... WTH?
Walked in to see what she was talking about to find an interior wall was on fire ...
Some idiot, years before, had put a receptacle on the wall, opposite one already installed on the other side, and used lamp cord and friction tape to splice it in.
Good thing it was in the afternoon and not early morning ... her bedroom was on that side of the house and our's on the other side. Still shudder thinking about.
Oof! That’s scary! Coming from a family of electricians just the description you gave of the hack job is cringe worthy.
