Mornin. Looking forward to an 80 degree day after all this cold. Got me my first straw hat yesterday. Now I need some boots and a nice wheel gun

Out of season. Straw hats are to be worn Easter to Thanksgiving. Felt Thanksgiving till Easter.
AND never set a hat brim down, it is crown down. Just sayin.

Yea I read all about storing it the right way and whatnot. Regarding seasons though, I’ve read that straw should be pretty much a memorial through Labor Day thing but with the exception of a few days here and there it’s close to 80 degrees down here daily. I would think felt would be too hot, no?

    Nice hat! :cowboy:

I see ya got the boot choices covered...

For a wheel gun - at our place we only have a couple; my .22 S&W Model 63, and a .357 Colt King Cobra, and @TxPython357 's Colt, well, .357 Python. LOL

@Moonpie would be the go-to here for revolvers (from what I can tell...).
But dont ask him about Glocks. He's kinda sensitive about that. :twin:

    Enjoying your posts :)

I think @Moonpie is only sensitive because Glock doesn’t make a wheel gun

I’d love to get a python or anaconda but I’m gonna have to roll my pennies for a while for either of em lol. I’m thinking along the lines of a smith or ruger. We’ll see when the time comes.

Maybe Glock will make a plastic wheel gun one day for me to ask him about
