Was the guy in the middle taller when they started practicing?
I always wanted to go dive Truk lagoon.... supposed to be incredible. Finally, keeping a nautical theme and included only because I had a co-worker who would head over there to dive every few years, a light tank out of its element in Truk lagoon.

The Connie was my home for four years. Sad that she is no longer. Great pic!USS Constellation and USS Kitty Hawk. Fun fact, the “k” in hawk on the Kitty Hawks fantail is upside down. During the final inspection by the first Skipper for delivery to the navy he pointed it out and when shipyard bigwigs heard they ordered it cut off and rotated. The captain liked at and asked they keep it upside down. To this day it’s never been corrected.

I worked on both, unfortunately after they were decommissioned. The Connie was my home for four years. Sad that she is no longer. Great pic!
Did you work on anything that's still operational ?I worked on both, unfortunately after they were decommissioned.
LOL, funny guy.Did you work on anything that's still operational ?
Coincidence? I think not.Worked 10 months on that ship in 2003, and a few months later it was decided it was a lost cause.
Looks like Easy Rider worked on that one too.
You can blame the Navy for that. Letting it sit as a training ship for 10 years in Mayport without repairs, it was a mess. The only reason the Navy hadn't decommissioned it sooner and scrapped it was the Kennedy's.Coincidence? I think not.
Texasgordo posted a pic of it recently.Lots of pictures of Naval ships.
Must have missed the one of the Battleship Texas...
stone cold!Coincidence? I think not.
as Henny Youngman once saidWhat age do you think I am? Moonpie's?
