There was unconfirmed reports that Enterprise was very, very, fast. The figure I heard was 80 knots. It seemed far fetched to me. Supposedly if you did the math on the emergency deployment at the beginning of the Tet Offensive, it could be proven.

I've heard many things, problem is, the Navy has a habit of classifying actual speeds, understandably.

Back when I made money from photography, I was like all photographers. I'd wait all day for the golden hour. Then I'd curse the fact that it often lasted just 10 minutes.
