Has H&H ever turned out anything that wasn't both pretty and expensive?

A free one for the OOC thread: That pretty young lady sure knows how to use a ball vise.

On a serious note, I've handled lots of H&H, Griffin & Howe, Merkel, Krieghoff, and similar guns and rifles and managed to shoot a couple. It's an experience I avoid these days. If I held quality like that for very long, it would spoil me. I stay in crappy hotels, too, because I've spent time in luxury accommodations and the experience takes the shine off normal travel.

I think I'll raise a glass tonite and toast cheap guns. They keep me honest.

My dear departed maternal Grandmother loved the stuff. MD 20/20 is made by Mogen David. The "mad dog" moniker fits both the winery and the rock gut product, take your pick.
