The amount of muzzle rise is unimportant as long as it's consistent. That's why you can often radically change the elevation zero of a fixed-sight .45 single action by changing bullet weights; a change in bullet weight changes how much the revolver moves in recoil before the bullet leaves the barrel.

With all that said, though, the Gyrojet was definitely not known for great accuracy.
