We have some pictures like this from our last visit. It was cool to watch.
I've always told my wife... when I get rich... We're take a 50ft cigarette boat to that place for a month...
I bought her one of these for Christmas. Pretty cool... I would recommend when you get to that place in your journey.Thanks. I have just scratched the surface on long exposures. The fisheye lens is something I wouldn't have thought of at all.
He looks like he's photoshopped into that picture.

The camera settings was set on bulb with the shutter being left open for 30-40 seconds.
I got lost in long-exposure night-time photography for a couple of years when I was a kid. I'd be out all night running around hillsides firing electronic flashes (and sometimes 2B bulbs) to light scenes. I committed various reciprocity failure tables to memory because they were a pain to read by flashlight. I was in deep.I have just scratched the surface on long exposures.
That's the best part about it. We have 3 kids... and the oldest is 5. So we don't have either one of those.....I got lost in long-exposure night-time photography for a couple of years when I was a kid. I said that to say this - It's a fascinating thing to do but, if you don't watch out, it can rob you of more money and sleep than you can spare. Beware.
