Although much of Downtown Seattle is built over the top of old Seattle after the Great Fire of 1889, I don't think it extends to the Seattle Center, so I doubt it was taken underneath. I do know that the picture was taken at ground level under the Space Needle, I was wondering where. It looks to be a building, but I'm not sure which.I’m gonna say pretty much underneath.
So pretty much underneath it?Easy, the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit is to the immediate west of the base of the Space Needle. There are two buildings, the closest to the tower being a greenhouse like structure. The picture was taken from there.
I see, thank you. I knew he had an exhibit in Tacoma that I have been to, but they must have built that exhibit in Seattle since the last time I had been to the Seattle Center. I didn't recognize where the picture was taken.Easy, the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit is to the immediate west of the base of the Space Needle.
