I stayed up late a while back to watch a meteor shower. I had intended to set up my camera on a tracing mount and 30 second exposures to catch a few of them, but just had no luck. The few I saw seemed well timed to cross my field of view between exposures. I did however get a few decent Milky Way images in the absence of shooting starts.
