Grew up on farm in a county in the Rolling Plains. Family has been in this county since 1889, before that in Coryell County. Was first in immediate family to leave. Gone 25 years. Spent 40 years in the wholesale hardware distribution industry with 2 privately held companies. Came be home in 1995. Spent most of time past 20 years caring for elderly or sick family members. Grew up hunting, shooting, fishing with my father's WWII vet friends. My screen name is the same as my Twitter account. Have been present there for 14 years, same photo. Seen the good and the bad. Over the years God blessed me many times. Have known some amazing people in my life. Hold Extra Class Ham license, 45 years and GROL Commercial license and pretty good at the test bench. I'm 75. My wife of 47 years died in 2018, I married again 3 years ago. Starting over. This is enough for now. Dave K.
