new to the area just north of Tyler - moved from the Conroe area - was a good boy by getting my 2 shot Pfizer series, wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing - but still got the virus and have been fighting it for the past month.....guess I'm at about 90% back to good health now (but I remain highly irritated at the anti-vax/anti-mask/anti-social distancing group that seem to have no respect for the safety of others - ME !)

I'm not a hunter nor a competition shooter but my Wife and I are firearms people who enjoy (mostly indoor) Range/Target shooting - between the 2 of us we have a rather nice selection of mostly semi-auto handguns, but also a few revolvers, rifles, shotguns, ARs and AR pistols. we both got out LsTC a number of years ago (tho neither one of us "carry" now-a-days) - however we do maintain self defense pieces in our vehicles and in areas around the house

our main interest now is the well-being of our SPCA rescued 4 legged critters, which we've adopted : 3 Dogs and 4 Horses. our reason for adopting was to insure that these neglected and abused animals get the best of care and love, which we pile-on them in heaps - something they should have had all during their lifetime

If the mask worked why did you get sick?
If the vaccine worked why did you get sick?
Yet you want everyone else to play along, to kneel at the alter of government control to make your selfish ass feel safe.

Wear a mask if you want, get the vaccine if you want stick your finger up your bum if it makes you feel safer, but it is no one's responsibility but your own to take action, or wear something or take drugs for your safety. And F you for thinking anyone should.

The notion that you are concerned for yourself or others is invalidated by your abdication of your self defense as admitted by you no longer carrying a handgun, despite having your LTC. Leaving it in a vehicle is foolish, both as a storage location and thinking you can get to it when you need it.

You seem reasonably intelligent, by what sort of twisted logic do you blame others for contracting an illness you took extreme steps to be "protected" from? Well except staying home of course.

If you can get it, still have to mask and social distance it's apparent on its face the vaccine is ineffective personal protection. If you can get it, you can still spread it, that pretty much shoots down blaming "unvaccinated". Don't look now but unexposed people are incapable of creating variants.

Let's get into the meat of it; you have no idea how or from whom you contracted it but blame the media/Left boogey man, "unvaccinated". Critical thought would quickly reject the idea as baseless and illogical.

I'm truly sorry for your misfortune but in your heart you know blaming someone else is ludicrous. Illness doesn't make exceptions for misguided righteous indignation.
