It's mine and yeah, that's the one.
Now this is gun porn!
It's mine and yeah, that's the one.
hahahaha WIN!If you look closely at the second picture, you can see that my buddy just zip tied a rail to his gun for this outing and it worked well.
does anyone have a suppressed 22 that's not a ruger mark?
This is quite a thread revival, but I like it! To answer your question, the whole mount was scratch built and was an exercise done to get the sight as low as I could. After shooting the Ruger with the FF3 mounted over the ejection port for a while, I found that for me it was preferable to have the sight located more forward. In the end I compromised the low mounting location a little and moved my Deltapoint forward on the 2211. It sits on a slightly modified factory TacSol rail now. It's slightly higher than before but still much lower than the Leupold clamp on picatinny mount. I'm not sure if it's just me, but having the rear sight there seems to help me align the gun and find the dot much, much, faster. Here is the same 2211 upper on it's dedicated frame and with the sight in its new location. Set up for rats and with one of my 9mm cans too.Techna,
Is the mount on the 2211 a factory mount, or did you make it also? The rail looks like the factory standard iron sights mount, but the area where the Leupold sits looks longer than the factory. I really like it.
