what about a DEAD AIR NOMAD 30 for a rem 700 tactical with a 5R bbl in 308?

Just about any of the .30 cal. cans will work fine on a .308, even with supersonic ammunition.

Looks pretty sweet. I did look it up... It is interesting that there is not any minimum barrel length, which is a big plus. Looks to be rated up to .300 win mag, also a plus. I would buy it. Coming from someone that owns many different ones...

10 gr Trail Boss under 180 gr soft point. works great on hogs. my son has a Rugged Design HBIR-1294 on his savage 10 in 308. the local rubes are awed by how quiet it is.
