When I'm not working, I spend a fair amount of time at the range but not as much as I'd like. If I'm not there, I'm in the field hunting something! Besides my trusty 1911, this is my other baby.

What are some your other hobbies?

I've been flying r/c since 1993. Also have many, many years of r/c racing behind me. I love riding dirtbikes, woods mostly, and have dabbled with trials bikes.

This is my T-Rex 450SE... very high performance electric helicopter that can be flown in an area about the size of a baseball diamond:

Man oh man, have I been wanting to do that! My wife would absolutely kill me if I started another hobby, but flying r/c helis is so damned sweet!

Modifying sports cars, most notably anything to do with turbochargers:

That's a Nissan Skyline GTR 2.6l I6 turbo motor (modified with a large single turbo) I was attempting to swap into a Datsun Z car awhile back. Here's what I found out so far:

    (1) Modifying cars can get expensive as heck
    (2) Modifying cars can get expensive as heck
    (3) Modifying cars can......make it that much easier for me to screw it up!
    (4) I am doomed to never finish a project I start!

After regretfully selling the modified 911 Turbo project I had, I am taking a break from the sports car scene so that both my pride and my wallet can take a rest. God I wish I could find an awesome hobby that was both fun and inexpensive! ;)

When I'm not in some type of formal shooting school, or deployed to some **** hole, I am either in college here in Austin, or in Colorado building race cars. During the winter most of my time is spent hunting.
