Pathetic republican garbage in House of Reps can't even pass Mayorkas impeachment. Bunch of useless losers in Republican party.

Unbelievable. How anyone with a brain bigger than a pea can see what a useless piece of garbage Mayorkas is and vote to impeach him. It would never have passed in the Senate but would have sent a message that Republicans all know he should be thrown out of office just like his leader Biden who is guilty of the same thing.

And these half wits in the House think they are going to impeach Biden? hahahahahahaha!

Nothing would happen even if he did get impeached. Unless we are talking jail time or bankrupting him, it’s a gigantic waste of time. On the other hand, if congress was tied up with impeachment hearings, it might keep them from passing laws that encroach on our rights

Just another snarky America hating leftist dickhead purposefully derelict in his duties to protect the country, lied about it to congress under oath multiple times, should be in prison, but the clown show can't even get him admonished through impeachment. I'm sure that wise-ass knew it all along and got a good chuckle out of it.

Just another reason why the (R) behind a name means absolutely nothing.

    Yep. Still might?
Story said they had one rep switch his vote, so procedurally they can re-vote next week when Scalise is back.
    Not that it even matters...

Look at their track record. The current crop of Rs are incompetent at governing, but let’s say they get it passed. You think they’re going to convince the Senate to convict? Snowball’s chance.

No. I do not think so, which is why I said "not that it really matters".

ETA - and now it's really about principle.
Finish what you started, you worthless slackers.

Elections are coming up. Republicans want to be able to say they impeached him so it looks like they did something. Stupid voters think their man/woman did something. All show and no results. I think our country is already doomed.
So far the only one doing anything is Greg Abbott and I note that nobody seems to be calling him the derogatory term hot wheels anymore. Go Abbott!

Nope, but they will have to go on record with a vote.

You really think that matters to the Ds?

At the risk of being a broken record, the Rs don’t (and haven’t for years) had a coherent strategy to operate from.

Yet they think *this* is the way to win in November. Kind of like they thought Dobbs, all by itself, was going to deliver a red wave in 2022.

Or having a trifecta would overturn Obamacare in 2017.

The starting point for a coherent strategy is to run the House without asking the Dem Senate for permission.

Notice how the Dem Senate didnt check With Repub House on the Border Bill?

And in other news, Ted Cruz thinks he, his family, cabinet members and judges are so special they should not have to go through airport security with the rest of us.
