Picked up an SKS to modify

What is the deal with modifying an SKS? Some tell e that if I want to change the stock, I also have to change 5-6 more parts to American made stuff. What's the deal with that? Some ATF BS?

Yep gotta keep it 922 compliant.What upgrade's are you going to do?

The 922r issue is a pain, but it can be done.
You have to replace enough original parts so that the gun is considered a "U.S." made item.
