I am originally from Texas but I have been out of state for school. I have recently returned to Texas. While I was gone, I developed an interest in guns. I bought a .22 rifle and a few months later, a 12 gauge shotgun. Recreational shooting was never a problem because there was a lot of public land that shooting was allowed on where I was going to school. Now that I am in San Antonio, it seems as if all of the land in Texas is privately owned. Are there any options around San Antonio if I want to go plinking?

I don't know of any places in and around San Antonio where you can plink anymore except on private property with permission of the land owner. There are several ranges is the area where you can shoot targets though.
