Friend of mine (retired, now) worked for SSI.

He, before he retired, worked in that Dept.

The Dopers, after getting "committed"/rehabbed a couple/three times? Apply for Social Security Disability. Nothing wrong with them...'cept they like dope.

He had to "approve" their $50,000 check...galled him to no end. (grinds my gears a bit, too)...

Some working stiff gets WRACKED up on the job? Lotsa luck...even if the working stiff were to be "approved"? He don't get the $50,000! Gotta be a doper....
