I can remember when Wally World used to boast about Made in USA. Now, they sell nothing but Chinese made stuff.View attachment 324496
Every one of us shares that blame. We bought cheap, rather than made is USA. Did that for long enough, now it is hard to impossible (for some things) to find made in USA.
No. We bought what they sold us because there was nothing else available. We were sold out by owners/operators who went foreign to satisfy greedy share holders and bonus hungry management. I used to work for a company calling itself 'The American..." until management found a way to scam us Americans of all colors then hired cheap foreign labor.
Would wheel weights work too? You’d be surprised at the number of wheel weights wife and I see along the road during our walks.I "mine" the rifle/pistol berms for bullet lead out here in EPT.
On good days, I can pull out about 20 lbs lead out of the sand per outing.
Takes some work, but is worth it.
Haven’t needed to “ buy “ a Craftsman tool in years. However, when I did need to exchange a broken ratchet last year, I did notice the reduced quality of the tool.I can remember when Wally World used to boast about Made in USA. Now, they sell nothing but Chinese made stuff.
The most recent disappointment I found was Craftsman Tools. Not sure when they changed, but about 5 or 6 years ago I noticed they were no longer USA. Most are now made in China with a smattering of Taiwan thrown in. Thing is, there is no discounted price for the new inferior Chinese crap. It is the fault of the businesses for selling us out.
