Wife just bought a set of 6 salad bowls - ALL made in the U.S.A.

No more chinese made anything for us when it's possible to avoid.

At this point, it's almost impossible to avoid 100% of the time, but if U.S. mfg's wake up, it will be in the future.

Can someone explain why people driving alone in their cars, are wearing masks?

It’s not like one person here or there...I’d say 10% of the cars I see have this going on.

You should join an automotive forum with ragtops. Many are worried about driving with the top down with and without masks. Gee, general bike riders and police motorcycles are riding without masks. I've had my top down for 5 weeks.

Seems like it would be kinda hard to eat while wearing a face mask. But maybe you only have to wear it between bites.

Appears so. Sign outside said “open inside”. Stopped us coming in and said we need masks. Asked them how were supposed to eat with a mask. Was told need a mask to come inside. Stupid knows no bounds.

Just a theory. What if they are heading home form a public encounter (e.g., shopping) and have not had a chance to wash their hands yet. May not want to touch the mask until they can wash their hands.

Possibly, but hopefully, if they wear a mask, they have hand sanitizer.

I usually see doctor as Dr. and DR for the Dominican Republic.

I have masks, but I ran out of hand sanitizer. I have plenty of soap at home though.

I applied for a unemployment years ago during my first oil bust (1982) and where it asked my previous job position I wrote RN.

I got a call back a few days later from the employment office and they said local doctor had an opening for a nurse. I told the guy I didn’t have any experience in that field and he said he read where I was an RN. I told him that was short for Roughneck.

I was 19 yrs old. Funny shit. Found a job as a bartender (on my own)
