My Grandaughter shooting my Golden Boy. She did pretty good, but later told me she prefered shooting my .45 Vaquero.

Old beat up Marlin Mod 60 that's been around the block more than a few times.

BSA sweet 22 and a XLR-250 kill light on it make for a good time dealing with the corn theifs at the lease.

not the nest pictures but heres one of my rim fires. It was my first rifle, think i was 7-8 when i got it. Its a 1923 Crackshot (close on the year) my dad bought it for 60 dollars from an old man he worked with. He had gotten it from his dad for his first rifle, but knew his kids would seel it so he wanted my dad to give it to me. wouldnt think so but this thing is a tack driver, ive shot dragon flys at 30 yrds off of weeds around the pond.

Those things are freakin' SICK to shoot! My grand-dad had one and we used to shoot it all the time. He ended up trading it to an uncle of mine for a coon dog. Wish I had it! The gun that is...

Picked up a Glenfield 25 and a Savage MKII at the pawn shop a while back for the grandkids (they aren't old enough yet but getting close). Desided to refinish the birchwood stock of the Glenfield.
Purchased Birchwood Casey's kit and it turned out great

good additions to my other rimfires

Walnut Stain, 10 coats of hand rubbed TruOil/Armorall mix and Howards Feed and Wax

Mossberg I purchased a while back. I had been looking at the S&W and the Ruger but couldn't pass this one up for the price.

And last but not least; a Marlin 795 (black gun) with an El Cheapo used 3-9x40 Simmons scope mounted on a Barska Dovetail to Weaver Rail. I'm really impressed with this scope that cost me $20. It's been a long time since I carried a 'black gun'. :patriot:

I have a Marlin 795 too as a recent purchase. Loving it. Impressed with the accuracy. Just need to fine tune my Tech Sights iron sights.

Dug up the old original stock from the 1970's, cut the barrel band ledge off and replaced it with a piece of oak from the backyard. Then increased the size of the channel to clear and free float the heavy barrel. Put on a recoil pad to lengthen the stock, and make it fit a bit better, then refinished the wood. Got a set of peep sights from NoDak Spud. Dura-Coated the entire gun gloss black, except for the sights, which are flat black. Installed a trigger over-travel adjustment screw. I am using the muzzle device as a thread protector, so it is easy to screw off and install the Gemtech can. Got a few other tweaks in it, but other than needing a sling and sighting in it's ready for her to go.
