Hey, I was just looking as one of these, online.

Have you guys used them? Do they work? You like them?

    Thanks.

The Dillon one is a pain in the @#$%, IMO. If you don't have it set up perfect. It seems to "chirp" all the time. I, pretty much don't use it. Makes it easier to NOT pay attention. anymore

I completely disagree about the Dillon one. I absolutely would not want to reload without the powder check. It is easy to adjust and gives me a lot of piece of mind that my powder is right. Mine never chirps unless the powder is too high or low.

What type of cartridge are you loading when you do or don't get problems with the Dillon alarm? It works perfectly for me reloading pistol rounds but when I reload .223 I get a lot of chirps. I just use it for pistol now.

I only load pistol calibers on my 650, .40S&W, .45 ACP, and .45 Colt and it works fine. Maybe the rifle calibers don't work with it as well but though I plan I starting to load .223 soon I don't yet.

My Hornady powder cop works very well. It is cheap and simple. I do not have to crank my head over to look into cases anymore. As with all of them I think, I do get varied readings because the powder falls different in each case, but you definitely know when one is way over or under. I will not load without either looking or using the cop, and I still check the charge regularly. It does speed up the process though.

The only way I will check powder level is with my eye ball under a strong light......
