What do you like in the mid price range and why?

I am not going to be of much value to this thread as I don't have one, but I am interested in acquiring one. In my research, I have been looking into a SIG716, and being a Sig fanboy, that is where I am leaning...unless this thread derails my thought. Subscribed.

M&P 10. Several hundred rounds without a hitch. Downside is that there aren't a lot of option for customization.

Ok. I've seen 901s for $1999 but sales tax puts it into the high roller range.

I like the caliber conversion and lefties will appreciate the fully ambidextrous controls.

I havent been big on the AR either but due to suppressors ive warmed back up to them.

Thats the one that you can put a 556 AR upper on? If so it is cool but I dont need that option. Thanks though

One thing to consider is proprietary magazines, some are not interchangeable with others. So if you are a guy who likes to have a boat load of magazines to go with his rifles, check the prices. MagPul makes magazines for a couple of the designs I think.

Right. I remember certain Armalites worked with certain mags
