Tons of venders at this one. Some outrageous prices though. Was looking for a Marlin 45-70 lever gun. Saw a used one for $795 they sell new for 450-550. Stopping at Academy after dinner. We did raffle off another gun with the FNRA though. And broght the Choc Lab up and did some dock diving with her.

Saw some deals, but more overinflated prices in my opinion. It took some searching to find a bargain, but I scored what I hope was a deal on a Polish NSP-2 night vision scope...

I have to figure out a way to rig up a battery but considering these are fairly hard to find Warsaw Pact relics I was happy to get it at such a great price!

Oh, and breakfast was pretty good if you ask me; once I got the right food!

    Cheers! M2

Just got back from the show. Holy smokes! was it crowded both inside and out. And were most of the guns over-priced! $379 for a Ruger 10/22 Take-down model and $599 to $649 for a Sig 522. Academy is cheaper.

Good news. Ammo prices were more in line with the net. And reloading component prices were also comparable to 'net prices.

SWMBO and I had a ball. Great time walking the halls and listening to the dogs bark.

I was there all morning, good crowd. I saw several "good" deals (in my opinion). I am in the market for a Ruger SR22 pistol. 2 dealers had them for $299+ tax which is about $30 cheaper than Academy. Every other dealer was $309-$325. Also saw new Sig Mosquitos for $299. Saw a new 10/22 carbine for $199 which is a few bucks more than Academy but a good price for a show. I picked up 3 new 25rd BX25 10/22 magazines and a new Butler Creek 10/22 mag loader for $100 OTD which I was happy with. Did not pull the trigger on the SR22 but there is always tomorrow.....

Yeah, I even asked one of the event staff at the info booth, said she had never heard of them and if they were there, they were registered under a different name.

Saw some RIA 1911 45 Tactical for $450. Not bad for a gun show but I saw Classic Arms has them for $415 shipped and I bit ! Still no luck finding a reasonably priced 357 mag lever action gun (older and pre-safety preferably). Prices on those rifles were sky high.

So Majormadmax must have been that young guy in the red shirt I saw skipping thru the show carrying the green metal box.
He looked like a kid(Joe Dirt) on Christmas morning.
