Premier show this weekend

Given the crowds at Saxet last week, I can't imagine how bad traffic is going to be backed up on North Lamar for this thing. Parking has historically been a problem at that location even under normal circumstances. This was a good show when they came through Austin for the first time in December, but I think I'm going to skip it this time.

Edit: Hell, I might not go to a large city ever again, change or not! I could stay out here in the sticks and be just fine. I'm at this moment watching two fawns chase each other around in the back yard.

I like the cool hispanic market next door. Would rather go there than the gun show this weekend. Maybe Sunday after the crowd dies down?

That location does suck, always has, but what else do you expect when your a down the block from rundberg and lamar. Its one of the worst parts of town. But I will probably go because its close, and I wont have anything to do on Sunday.

We went to the last one, it was a nice show but nothing near the size of the SA show.

I don't know how bad it will be but I suspect there will be a larger-than-usual crowd. I don't think we'll drive up for for it, but if we were closer we'd go. It's much better than SAXET!

Prolly but most everything worth buying sells out before noon on Saturdays.

The only reason I went to the SAXET show in SA last week was simply out of "Schadenfreude."

There were plenty of AR's on tables starting from $1,800 and up.

No AK's, but one Saiga Shotgun selling for $1,300.

Lots of SKS starting at $899.

.22 caliber Long Rifle Remington 550 bulk packs sold for $70.

.223 Remington & 5.56 mm NATO for $49.95/box of 20 rounds.

Federal AE .223 selling for $1,399 case of 1,000.

Academy brand 7.62x39 selling for 12.95 for a box of 20.

Stripped AR lowers for $450.

AR mags, however could not hold out on high prices. Most were in the 30 dollar range.

Now we know from whom not to buy from in the months ahead.
