    Guessing everyone doesn't keep track of local news
    Even though it sucks, there is a little there that is beneficial now & then.

    According to the article , only about 20k of the 37k signatures turned in to get this on the ballot were considered valid.

    That’s a lot of bad signatures. I don’t know what the norm is but that sounds outrageous.

    I'm surprised at the outcome. I was genuinely worried about what would happen if this passed. It would have been one step closer to the Californication of Texas.

    That's worrisome. The 20K out of 35K thing. It shows that election fraud is alive and well here in SA, And thanks to the OP for posting this. I live just outside of the city limits and was not allowed to vote for this... not sure when the county elections are but need to get that on my radar. And the real question here is which elected official was behind this? Or was it just a communist citizen group?
