The funniest thing is; they're not really anarchists. I've had a chance to talk to an anarchist and it turns out they're actually socialists.

Point out that anarchy = the strong are in charge but everybody's standard of living blows and they squirm. Though he might have been squirming because I also told him that this is the kind of nightmare environment that drives me to buy guns, ammo, gear and food. I also asked if he was still cool with the idea of anarchy if it meant me fighting back and him having to see me fill his friends and wife with lead (including graphic description of how mortally wounded persons will cry to their mother in their final moments). He apparently still thinks the goal is worth it (though swore that it would only be by non-violent means - like that would matter), but gave me a wide berth after that. :p

It was amazing to see the denials that socialism requires a fascist government to function...

All this came from my response to his display of a picture of him and his wife talking about protesting against the Tea Parties (you'd think an anarchist would be all for that - smaller government and all...) wearing bandannas... and my observation that concealing your face in a situation like that is the sign of a coward.

There is no arguing with the left. Not one person was arrested at the Tea Bag event in Washington. But yet Oberbite labeled them as anarchists.

Will be curious what MSDNC says about these fruitcakes.

    On a related note.

I was on another forum today going at it versus some liberals, including women, over Obama Care. The big argument was whether the Medicare Advantage Plan I have is government health care. It's not administered by, regulated by, and no one from the government gives me an enema. Some dunderhead quoted directly from the Medicare website, where it specifically called it a PRIVATE Plan, and tried to tell me it was government. All I could do is as her to freakin' READ what she posted.

She somehow got into Ronald Reagan, saying Star Wars did nothing. I quoted the first Gulf War where the Patriot Missiles saved the war against Scuds. They are a direct result of Star Wars. She then made direct quotes from the Washington Post, the NY Times, and LA Times, all saying it was a failure. Well, DUH, these are left wing sites. I asked why she didn't quote from Pravada.

Liberals - it's damn hard arguing with them. They just know it ALL.

Dude, it's not "tea bag". That's a term the leftists have tried attaching to the TEA Parties to try to marginalize us. "Tea bagging" is a sick sexual thing.

It has been adopted by FPS gamers as a way to show how much you just pwnt some n00b though. (Move so that your avatar is over the head of the fallen foe, then hit crouch repeatedly...)

I think just everyone now has accepted any names that are floating around as norm. I even heard Hannity call them Tea Baggers on his radio show the other day. In fact, by de-emphasizing "names" it tends to negate the absurdness of the left who tries to demoralize them.

I get a kick out of that dike Maddow when she says it. She kinda makes a sneer with the side of her mouth. It's easy to see that she is trying to slam them but she is not successful.

Bet she knows completely what the original term means, first hand.

how can someone be an anarchist and against capitalism? Paradox

I know. I pointed out to this moron I talked to that the only way to create a socialist economy was to literally force it upon people. His only answer was "nuh-uh!"

Don't argue with them... they're too stupid to realize how stupid they are.

yea, I'm of the mindset that I'd rather have anarchy than totalitarianism.

Problem is that anarchy would only lead to totalitarianism. The strong would take power in the vacuum of anarchy, and then start forcing their will upon us.

It's a fine balance we need to maintain. Enough order that we don't fall into chaos that will give despots an opportunity and enough freedom to keep what we have now from becoming that despotic regime.
