Question about requalifying

Did a search but didn't find this topic and have been away from the forum for awhile so forgive me if this has been asked before.

I will have to renew my CHL and requalify next year......my question is.......can you requalify with a laser site on your handgun? Or will I need to remove it?

In my class I would not make you take it off the gun. But you can not use it. If you cant turn it off I place tap over it.

As an instructor, I've allowed them. There's nothing in the regs/laws saying you can't.
