Unloaded is a club.Loaded as in a round in the chamber?
I’m not aware of a specific prohibition, but I’m not sure it’s the safest thing to do, even with a bolt gun or single shot.
Long gun/shot guns laws are pretty much non-existent here.

Military installations not withstanding.
Generally speaking yes. Federal locations like PO, FedBuilding, and school zones are off limits.
Get a second opinion. Preferably from someone at Texas Law Shield where their attorneys actually know the intricacies of Texas ( and fed gun laws).not accurate according to an attorney I've spoken to."property" & " premises" are two different things. In the parking lot is okay

I was also told the same thing by the middle school resource officer (LEO) years ago, fine in vehicle picking up kids but get on the sidewalk and it would be considered " on premises" and not allowed.
I can even have an unlimited number of firearms on state prison property as long as they as stored in accordance with AD 02.95 ,storage of firearms and have been doing so for 20+ years.
I'm done here.
This. And the “I hadda cop tell me once” is a recipe for prosecution. You are confusing state and federal law. The post you quoted was in reference to federal law.
Depends...a private person can legally ship firearms(there are stipulations) thru USPS.Take a firearm onto a Post Office parking lot, have a Postal Inspector see it and see how fast you visit your local jail under Federal charges for a felony.
