Just a reminder. Weather is gonna be mid 70's and sunny. I'm planning to be there if any TGT'ers want to meet up.
Event is in Manchaca (South Austin).

If my buddy backs out of going hunting this weekend and he might, then I'll be at this event. I'm just going to be a free loader though and don't plan on buying anything. I just to want to shoot stuff.

I really need to be a free loader myself and just shoot stuff.... you know , research. Hope the event “discounts” are not tempting enough!

    Helotes!
I went last year. It was so crowded, i could not enjoy it.

    I was concerned about that.

They claim they've "increased the size of our main range and added a second range to allow additional demonstration tables;" but I have the feeling that will only increase participation.

However, there is a particular suppressor I would like to see and even possibly shoot before purchasing.

I guess I'll have to see how I feel Saturday morning before I make the 80+ mile drive each way!

Well I'm out on this. I hate crowds and I'd rather shoot at running pigs anyway. Seems like a cool event though and maybe I will attended one when suppressors are not taxed. I don't support the NFA at all, so those are off the table here until further notice.

Well damn - Just saw this. I'm going to go - but it will be in the afternoon. Last time I went to one of these things was at ETTS - had a freaking ball. Where's @Joshua - Capitol Armory - brought cans a long time ago to Hicksville.

That’s awesome, figured it would be packed!

I only stayed for about an hour. I had one particular company and suppressor I wanted to try. That took 20 minutes or so of standing in line, but I had a great conversation with two guys from Killeen. I got to shoot three rounds but it was on the same length barrel I have, so it allowed me to hear how loud it was without hearing protection. Still loud, but a lot more tolerable; plus I am sure it would be quieter with subsonic ammo (they were using Winchester White Box). The one I was looking at was 5% off MSRP at this event, but I didn't want to buy just yet and I'd rather go through a local shop...
