Okay gang I'm in dire need of help, I found this little gem at a gun show, it shoots great and my Grandson is asking for a .22 plinker to shoot when his dad breaks out the large caliber pistols so he can shoot too, I can buy him something for less money but would love to give him this one, as it is light and a ton of fun to shoot.

If I give it to him I want more than one mag but only have the one that came with it and have heard they are prone to breaking, can anyone point me to where I could find a couple more mags for this gun so I can make it a Christmas gift for my Bestest Good Buddy?!?

Any and all help would be Greatly APPRECIATED!!!

This is the follow up to the Magnum Research, Mountain Eagle .22lr pistol. I had mine ordered from a LGS back in the late '80s.
Great shooter and very accurate.
Now the bad part. I sold mine a few years ago because the magazines became unobtainable.
Ram-line made the mags for Magnum research and for their own line after they took over the pistol design.
Last mags I found for sale were in Florida. 3 were available for $70.00 each and not new. Around 2012 or so.

That's the way it is.

$200 for 3 of them is damn near what I paid for the pistol in the box with one mag!!!

Maybe I should just throw away the gun and sale the mag!!!
