Range on Saturday?

I'm heading to my place in Ferris on Saturday (day after Christmas) to sight in a few rifles and bust some clays with a new shotgun. Only problem, all of my regulars are busy with family all day and I need someone to pull the rope a few times (on the clay thrower, perverts). Anyone want to join? It's got a clear 1585 Yards from the barn to the berm. I've got a full size metric IPSC steel target and a 10" round steel gong set up and you'd be welcome to shoot as far as you want.

Looks like I'm taking the father-in-law out for his first time to the range since NVA hit ground in Saigon...so I'm keeping it in the family this time. I'll give you guys a shout next week though.

You could shoot it at Alpine Range... Bring SP or HP ammo tho.. They dont allow FMJ and aint cheap on the ammo they sell.. Google Alpine

Went to alpine to shoot this morning. First time shooting the ak so i had a blast! Bad things: could not hit the center of target at 50 yards if my life depended on it!:1zhelp:. 2- The guy running the floor was a total tool. I understand he has a job to do but be polite about it.

And other problem i had was that the last round in my 30rnd mag kept getting stuck. The 5 round mag went through all without a problem.
