I need another 9mm can... Got the box of parts for my 9mm ar build, engraved the lower today, filing form 1 very soon.

I love the Uzi, but the lack of options for a red dot really make an 9mm AR sound good.

Think I will just spend way to much money mod'ing LGs CX4 instead.

Ran the shot out of 3 dots again. Didn't realize u need the red dot?

Just throwing this out there but it may be better to train to hit at 100yds with your standard pistol before putting a red dot on it.

Just came across this video where SilencerCo explains how to use wire pulling gel and "pre-staging" the silencer to be shot when ready. They never put a deadline on how long they can be "pre-staged" for, but this does seem to partially answer a question asked earlier in this thread.

So yesterday was my first day playing around with wire pulling gel, vs. using water like I've always used when shooting "wet". After watching the video, I decided I would pre-stage my Silco 45 Osprey for a BBQ I was going to at a friends land. Applied the gel before leaving. It was a 1 hour ride, plus another hour before we shot. I'd guess that the can was loaded with gel for 2.5 hours before being shot. I had no gel run out or escape... The results would defy all logic in Jared's mind....

147gr 9mm subs through a wet 45 can seemed quieter than 22 thru 22 can dry.

Water is probably just as quiet. The advantage of the gel is that it tends to stay loaded in the can better than water. In the 2.5 hours I had the Osprey pre-staged, I made sure to store and flip it around to test how well the gel would stay loaded. I never saw any come out. It just sticks to baffles and blows out when you fire.

    Noob question:

Do all cans benefit from being run wet? Are there any that shouldn't be?
